Love the swing idea. I grew up with them. They’re awesome. It will look good too. What kind of glue did you use for the planters on the side of the house?

Those little shrubs look like cedars to me but it is a little hard to tell without seeing them in person. If they are cedars, they'll smell cedar-y when you rub them between your fingers. They're very cute, either way. Love the video, as always ❤ take care, stay safe

Ashley, your little bushes are a Globe Arborvitae (Thuja Occidentalis) such as Tator Tot Arborvitae by Proven Winners.

A swing would look great and you would have your back toward the sun if you want to sit out on porch. Have Chase to make you a table the same as your planters that way it will match your door and your planters. It would look AWESOME!!

Everything looks so pretty! We paint our porch ceilings sky blue and we opted for rocking chairs instead of a swing on our porch.

Have you guys thought about building your patio out where the shaded and the sunny parts meet? I think that would look nice and it kill 2 birds with 1 stone

The little trees look like miniature fir trees. If you rub between your fingers you should smell pine off them. If that's what they are

I heard you can drill holes in the drain diverters and put tent stakes in them to keep them in place. The holes would get drilled close to the top of the drain diverter border.

I believe your shrubs are some kind of arborvitae, maybe Emerald.

The shrubs are Anna's Magic Ball Arborvitae. Lowe's sells them, probably Home Depot as well.
