I would love to know what your material costs were vs what you profit was. I live in NYC and making these 3 clipboards would costs me $80 in lumber costs at my local place in Astoria. Material costs seem to kill any ideas I ever have of using nicer woods.

I just subscribed to your channel today. I have really enjoyed the many videos I have watched from you. I appreciate the fact that you talk WHILE You make….so many Woodworking and or other Maker Channels, just do a fast speed of all the work they do with an occasional comment or so. You REALLY Not only let us know what you are doing at the time you are doing it, but you "Tell Us" the story that goes with the project. I enjoy how interesting you make your videos and they really keep my attention. I am a woodworker too, I mainly work with Sawdust. YEPPERS, You heard correctly….lol….I am a rare breed of woodworker as I use the sawdust that gets thrown out from other woodworkers. I do NOT Post regular as I am disabled ( Paralyzed in one leg due to an accident ) Saying that I like to get a video out every once in awhile. Oh, my channel is not all sawdust related, I make old fashioned soap, do regular woodworking that others would make and I throw in a dab of cooking….lol….but Sawdust is a Passion of mine and I call the Woodworking I create out of Sawdust… SADUSDO!!! (Yeppers, with ALL Capitals…lol ) Anyway, Yes, I do sometimes mix sawdust AND Regular woodworking into a project. I LOVE To get inspired by what others create. This is why I subbed your channel today. I see YOUR Passion in woodworking, and it spilled over into my minds eye….you are in inspiration and I appreciate you greatly!!!
From MY Maker channel to YOUR Maker channel, I HOPE You have the Very BEST Day Ever David!!!!!
    Hugs and Love,

Love your vids dude! Glad I don't have to listen to Big hips-hop. I listen to Hawaiian music, some of them are as good as any artist out there. Soothes my soul and that creates better work.

When I went to get eye corrective surgery I was told by the receptionist that the doctors would play some nice relaxing music, instead these dudes played some metal music and asked if I wouldn’t mind not telling her. I said “sure I don’t mind but do you have anything from the Doom soundtrack?”
Sure enough they did. I spent an hour listening to demon slaying music as I was awake for the whole operation.

Love your projects and channel. I teach high school woodshop and use your project ideas all the time, hope it's ok. We mill our own lumber out of salvaged logs, make projects, and starting to try and sell them. You always have great insights into merchandising your wood projects, thank you!
